Summer of Love

Commissioned by Genesis Publications, Summer of Love, The Making of Sgt. Pepper is a larger format, collectors' edition book charting the story recorded in diaries by famous music producer George Martin of the making of the Beatles album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Heart Club Band and the events of year 1967 and the summer of love. Many of the photographs in the book have been coloured and illustrated to become original pieces of art in themselves, capturing the spirit of invention and psychedelia in which Sgt. Pepper was born.
